JUROR – Leslee Adams (The Watercolor Chef) Leslee Adams began painting in watercolor in 2002. A professional chef by trade, she was raised in the Palm Springs area. After earning her Pastry Diploma at The Ritz Escoffier in Paris in 1990, Leslee returned to CA and worked as a pastry chef at The Ritz Huntington Hotel. She moved back to PS in 1990 and opened her own catering/pastry business. As a chef she is known for creating table displays with an artist’s eye.
Leslee began watercolor painting as a relaxing hobby and soon developed a passion for the art. Her paintings are vibrant and dance with color. She first became known for her colorful, distinctive painting of foods. She has branched out to paint local desert and European landscapes, still lifes, and florals all with her bold, dramatic style.
